In a turn that stunned some observers, the popular view of fish management switched dramatically a few weeks ago. In doing so, the good guys won — and this shocking turn even inspired an editorial in The New York Times. Only three years ago, a team led by Boris Worm of Canada's Dalhousie University grimly announced in the journal Science that all fish would be commercially extinct by 2048. Now, Worm appears to have changed his mind.
