Pratt & Lambert

In 1849, Pratt & Lambert launched in Buffalo, New York, with the goal of making a product that dried linseed oil paint. It was just the first in many innovative product developments that would come from Pratt & Lambert during the next 165 years. In 1908, the company opened an industrial research laboratory for developing products that included exterior house paints and interior oil-based products. Other key offerings over the years include alkyd (oil-based) products, latex products, a faux-finish line and low-VOC wall paints.
