According to the market research company Kusumgar, Nerlfi and Growney Inc., architectural coatings will account for more than half of all the paint and coatings that are expected to be used in 2015 in the United States. The company estimates that 8.8 billion pounds of paint and coatings will be used overall, up from 7.8 billion in 2011.
