The Chicago Section is creating a new list of speakers interested in participating in the speaker circuit and a new list of organizations interested in hosting speakers.The speaker circuit is for venues beyond the ACS such as a company,educational institution,public event,social organization or political organization.Speeches may be formal presentations of research,hands-on demonstrations,or anything in-between.Speakers may choose general topic areas on which you would be willing to speak,or leave it open-ended.Topics may involve subjects you have studied or areas in which you are interested.Representatives of organizations may submit requests for particular topics of interest or leave it open-ended as well.The Section will match incoming requests with the new list and facilitate coordination of the speeches.Speakers of various ages and backgrounds will likely be sent to each organization to provide multiple perspectives and encourage diversity and participation in the ACS.
