A Tale of Two Painters

VOC content is not an isolated factor in determining the environmental impact of a painting project. As John Bennett, president/founder of Eco-Safety Inc. pointed out, there are other factors such as cost, energy expenditures and repaint schedules that have a role in the ultimate environmental consequences. To illustrate this point, Bennett laid out the following scenario comparing two painters: Painter A, using a zero-VOC paint, and Painter B, using a 300 g/L-VOC paint.
