摘要

An experiment was conducted to simulate the canopy growth, development and grain yield of wheat under semiarid conditions of Pakistan, during 2002-03. The model was also used to assess the sowing date and rate requirements of wheat. The model shows that to achieve 6000-7000 kg/ha crop must intercept 600 MJ PAR from mid-December to early-March during the season with a leaf area index of 4-6.
