Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) offer unique mechanical, optical and electrical properties and, as a result, researchers are investigating their use in electronic, mechanical and optical devices. Inks comprised of carbon nanotubes are commercially available from a variety of sources. However many, if not all, of these CNT inks have properties that limit their use in printing with common commercial printing equipment at high rates. Some of these limitations are listed below.
