New Type of Brush Makes Its Debut

It isn't often that someone revolutionizes the paintbrush, but it may have happened thanks to a Dutch painter. Cling On! brushes were devised by a Dutch painting contractor named Frank Michielsen who was displeased with the brushes that were available in the Netherlands for applying water-based coatings. So he devised his own. Michielsen purportedly spent years trying to find just the right combination of filaments for the paintbrush of his dreams. The Cling On! website touts the brushes' "superb cutting in," "better coverage" and "smoother finish."
