PPG Announces Major U.S. Rebranding Efforts and Record Sales

PPG INDUSTRIES ANNOUNCED deep, sweeping changes to the company's U.S. brand strategy in April. The changes will affect PPG brands in all three of the company's distribution channels: independent retail stores, company-owned stores and home centers. For independent retailers, the most significant changes will be the rebranding of the PPG Pittsburgh Paints line and the fact that the new line will be available exclusively through the independent retail channel. As part of the rebranding effort, some of Devoe Paint's more popular sub-brands will be rolled into the new PPG Pittsburgh Paints line.
