US-headquartered GE is planning to make India into a technology and innovation centre for its products and not looking at it as a low-cost manufacturing hub. The company is bullish about healthcare, renewable energy and oil and gas sector and feels there is a need to remove bottlenecks in the thermal power sector for the revival of the beleaguered sector, Banmali Agrawala, President & CEO, South Asia, told ET in an interview.
