Steady growth forecast for global PVC market till 2021

A new market study by Germany's Ceresana has forecast global demand for PVC to increase by about 3.2% per annum until 2021. The report pegged worldwide PVC consumption in 2013 at about 39.3-mt. With a market share of close to 56%, Asia-Pacific is the by far largest market, and likely to exhibit the strongest growth. The North American and Western European markets have returned to a growth path after incurring severe losses in previous years, the report stated.
