In 1938, something happened to three Massachusetts brothers that would change their lives forever. Given the nature of the event, it can hardly be described as fortuitous. But some good did come out of it. The men were owners of small and struggling paint-related businesses in different Massachusetts towns when a tropical cyclone dubbed the Great New England Hurricane slammed into the Bay State. In the storm's wake, the three brothers got an idea. The hurricane had broken a lot of glass. Why not try to make some extra money replacing all that glass?
