PPG Helps Create New Coatings Degree

PPG recently announced its partnership with an institute of higher education in Lyon, France, to create Europe's first chemical engineering master's degree program devoted to paints and coatings. In devising the degree, PPG collaborated with the ITECH Engineering School (also known as Institut Textile et Chimique de Lyon and the Lyon Textile and Chemical Institute) and the European Council for Paints, Printing Inks and Artists' Colours Industry (CEPE). Courses are taught in English to better prepare students for employment in the international coatings marketplace. The program's first students will graduate in May 2017.
