What strategies for Indian chemical industries in 2014?

2012 and 2013 have been stressful years for chemical industries all over the world, particularly in Europe and USA. Several chemical companies in Europe and USA were forced to curtail production, close some units and postpone projects, as recessionary trends set in and the demand growth could not be sustained. Though, in recent times , chemical projects are being planned in big way in USA due to increase in production of shale gas, conditions in Europe are stiil somewhat gloomy.
