BASF mulling short-time working at Ludwigshafen site

IN the backdrop of continuing economic slow-down and dying demand for its products, BASF will begin assessing which of its production plants would have to opt for short-time working as of June 1. The company will analyse the situation unit-by-unit in the coming weeks and discussions will then be held with employee representatives to determine in which production units short-time working will be introduced.
