Lanxess India creates green zone at its site in Jhagadia, Gujarat

ON the occasion of World Earth Day celebrated every year on 22 April, Lanxess India announced the creation of a 'green zone' at its Jhagadia site in Gujarat. The site, which is under construction, will host an ion exchange resins plant and a rubber chemicals plant. The 'green' initiative aims to plant around 3,000 trees. To kick-off the initiative, a tree plantation drive was organised in cooperation with the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) to create awareness about environmental protection.
