The festive season of late October and early November in India has always been the most eagerly awaited time of the year not only for the common man,but also for our industry.After all it is that time of the year when purse strings are loosened to make all those household purchases and investments that one has dreamt about during the last 12 months.Armed with the fattened pay cheque and the hard-earned savings,and having just seen the back of the prolonged Indian monsoon,the average Indian is all set to infuse some colour into his home and his life.
