Interaction with defence sector

11th July,2005,will be regarded as a red letter day in the annals of IPA.As an integral part of the 42nd Annual General Meeting we had arranged an unique interactive session with the Defence Sector who are one of the largest consumers of paints.The Hon'ble Defence Minister Mr.Pranab Mukherjee was invited as the Chief Guest and despite his busy schedule he spent a large portion of the morning with us.A brief presentation on the capabilities of the paint industry was made before him and other senior dignitaries from the Defence service and a humble request was made by us to set up Task Force to review the specifications,quality assurance and procurement systems followed by the Army,Navy and the Airforce.
