Dear Readers,While it is evident that the Government is in the process of bringing in some regulations to limit the levels of Lead in paints and coatings, there is also the need to address the levels of VOC in paints. Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) has been found to be a major contributing factor to ozone, a common air pollutant which adds to the public health hazard when present at lower atmospheric levels.
