Berger International opens Oman's biggest paint project

BERGER International Private Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Asian Paints has ramped up operations in the Sultanate with the launch of a new mega-sized faci I ity that has the potential to transform Oman into a powerhouse in the multi-billion dollar paints and coatings industry in the region. Located in Sohar Industrial Estate, the state-of-the-art plant was formally inaugurated on December 14, at a ceremony attended by senior government officials, as well as top-level executives of the project's joint venture partners — Al Hassan Group of Companies (Oman) and India-based Asian Paints.
