THE U.S. division of Toyo Ink, the world's third largest ink manufacturer, hired Vipul Shah as its VP of sales, Liquid Ink Division. Shah, who holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Drake University and 20-plus years of industry experience, has dedicated his entire career to the flexible packaging field. He is in fact, a second-generation industry icon: Shah's father, Kent Shah, a partner-owner of Color Converting, retired in 2009 after a long career, which included receiving NAPIM's Printing Ink Pioneer Award in 1994.
