The CEO of Hexion, Craig Morrison, recently visited India to meet customers and partners. This included a formal dinner with key customers. Paintindia took the opportunity to meet him and learn more about their vision for India and the their global outlook towards the chemical business. Earlier Craig joined Borden Chemical, one of the companies that merged to form Hexion, as President and CEO in 2002. He led the effort to combine Borden Chemical, Bakelite AG, Resolution Performance Products and Resolution Specialty Materials to form Hexion, the second largest North American-based specialty chemical company. Prior to joining Hexion, Craig served as President and General Manager of Alcan Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Packaging, a division of Alcan Inc. Craig was also President and General Manager of Van Leer Containers Inc., served as a management consultant with global business consulting firm Bain & Company, and worked in a variety of management roles within General Electric Plastics.
