Allnex launches UV curable low migration resin for coatings & inks for food packaging

AMINE modified polyether acrylate EBECRYL 85 is the latest addition to Allnex's portfolio of curable low migration resins for indirect food contact applications. The use of UV curable coatings and inks for food packaging applications has been limited due to concerns about odor and taste transfer resulting from the migration of resin components. In addition, as interest in curing with LED UV lamps increases, there is a need to ensure that ink and coating resins will completely react under LED curing conditions to afford the same level of hardness.
