Heavy traffic and pollution during rush hours in today's busy cities is an ever increasing problem in Spanish cities like Madrid and Barcelona are no exception. Referencing successful projects in other countries, the Spanish government implemented a scheme for a public bicycle rental system. System Integrator Eurosistemas de Control was responsible for designing and implementing the system.
