Securing aging control system infrastructure

ABB's Paul Gogarty explores the cyber security challenges being presented by an aging control system infrastructure and offers some best practices to secure its future. We read in the papers, virtually every day, about a new cyber security threat. For the world's aging industrial control systems (ICS) these new threats are very real and without regular digital security maintenance systems, the risk of an attack or an ICS being compromised is an ever-increasing possibility.
