Radical reaction of phenylsulfonyl oxime ethers on solid support: Application to the synthesis of alpha-amino esters

Radical reaction of alkyl iodides with resin-bound phenylsulfonyl oxime ether 1 and hexamethylditin in benzene at 300 nm for 24 h followed by cleavage of support and the subsequent reduction of oxime ethers 3 with 10% Pd on carbon afforded a-amino esters 6 in reasonable yields. [References: 25]
