Voluntarism and pancreatic societies: fuelling a new trend for which the time has come?

This editorial originated as I was dressed in a bright orange vest cleaning a portion of an adopted piece of Highway 52 in Rochester, Minnesota. I was with my wife, who also volunteers for caring and entertaining cancer-affected children along with a sixth-degree tae-kwon-do (TKD) master, who led our crew, and does more benefit for the good of people beyond herself.
