Topoproteomics in Skin Research

摘要

By novel methodological achievements such as multi epitope ligand cartography it becomes feasible to analyze molecular events in situ on the spatial level of topoproteomics.The recent application of these technologies in the field of dermatol-ogy plays a piloting role for medicine in general.By surface and weight skin may be regarded as the human body's largest organ.Skin and its appendages,hair and nails,are the matter of dermatologists and other medical specialities due to various diseases.E.g.psoriasis affecting 2-3% of the EU and US population,atopic eczema in about 10% of school children,and worldwide increasing incidences of skin cancer due to general UV overexposure.
