An important factor of the present time is ecology and permanently tenable development, i.e. development that will satisfy the needs of the present without impairing possibilities of future generations in fulfilling their own necessities. It is a reality that society responsibility for living and working environment is growing. The legislation has introduced stricter demands on industrial plants. Of course, it is valid for foundries too and it is related considerably to the field of moulding materials. Foundries are classed to such industries that haven't just the best working environment; they are important pollutant producers and they produce great amount of waste. In foundries those facts are reflected in many aspects from economic load of foundries with solving the environmental matters up to problems with recruitment of specialists for this profession.
