Although narcolepsy and Behcet's disease are both related to a possible autoimmune process, the association of these two diseases has not been reported. We report a 44-year-old woman with Behcet's disease accompanied by excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) diagnosed as narcolepsy. The characteristics of our patient with narcolepsy and Behcet's disease are summarized in Table 1 (see online Supplementary material). We used the International classification of sleep disorders 2nd edition (ICSD-2; 2005) [1 ] and the diagnostic criteria of the International Behcet's Disease Study Group (1990) [2] to diagnose narcolepsy and Behcet's disease, respectively.
