摘要

We synthesized vertically aligned helical polyacetylene film where the fibrils, the bundles of polyene chains, were aligned parallel to the film thickness. Acetylene polymerization was curried out under the homeotropic chiral nematic liquid crystal field. The morphology of the polyacetylene film was examined by scanning electron microscope. It is found that the fibrils were screwed and aligned vertically against the substrate. [References: 4]
