摘要

We are investigating the photophysics of aconjugated, red emitting molecule (RS- 19) as a guest in a blueemitting laddertype poly(para-phenylene) matrix (mLPPP) bymeans of steady state and cross-correlation fluorescencespectroscopy. We observe a very efficient excitation energytransfer from mLPPP to RS- 19. Through varying theconcentration of the red emitter in the host, we demonstratechanges in quantum yields (QY), energy transfer efficiencies(ETE), and decay times of the photo-generated species. Theobserved intemal color conversion can be exploited in white lightemitting diodes.
