Synthesis of Diaryl Ketones Catalyzed by Al_2O_3-ZrO_2/S_2O~(2-)_8 Solid superacid

摘要

The acylation of a variety of aromatic compounds with benzoyl chloride or its derivatives and catalytic amounts of Al_2O_3-ZrO_2/s_2O~(2-)_8 solid superacid affords the correspondind diaryl ketones in good to excellent yields 75-93% at appropriate temprature.
