Fe3+-montmorillonite K10: An efficient catalyst for selective amidation of alcohols with nitriles under non-aqueous condition

An efficient method for preparation of secondary amides by reaction of alcohols with nitriles is described using a catalytic amount of Fe3+-montmorillonite K10. [References: 14]
