Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator shock during physical activity: Appropriate or inappropriate shock?

A 41-year-old man presented with a shock from his single-chamber implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD; Virtuoso VR D164VWC, Medtronic Inc., Minneapolis, MN, USA). The shock happened while the patient was playing basketball. He denied any cardiac symptoms before or after the event.
