摘要

Aldoxime is converted into corresponding nitrile derivative on treatment with Cetyltrimethylammonium dichromate.The conversion of oximes to nitriles have been carried out by using several dehydrating agents like trifluoroacetic anhydride,chlorosulphonyl isocyanate,diphosphorous tetraiodide,selenium dioxide,4,6-diphenyl-2-methylthiopyry-lium tetrafluoroborate,copper(H)acetate,and the triphenylphosphine/ CCl_4.
