A large roof was installed over the check-in lobby of the international passenger terminal that opened in October, 2010, at Tokyo International (Haneda) Airport. The roof has a bow-shaped cross section that recalls the lower slope of Mt. Fuji. The large roof is a long-span steel-frame space truss structure (69 × 162 m) composed often connected space truss frames sitting on columns spaced 69 m apart.
