Japanese steel export in FY 2010 up by almost 12% YoY - JISF

The Japan Iron & Steel Federation has gathered and released statistics on steel export (all steel basis) in 2010 fiscal year. According to this, it showed 43,636,000 tonnes, up by 11.9% YoY for 2 years in a row which marked a record high in the past exceeding the previous highest of 39,003,000 tonnes in 2009 fiscal year. In amount, it was USD 47.255 billion, up 34.0% from the previous year which hit the highest in the past exceeding the previous highest of USD 43.948 billion and USD 4.59 trillion, up by 24.3% ditto.
