Comparison between four roll and six roll mill.

摘要

The paper presents the evolution of the milling in Australia and the comparison between six roll mills used in Australia since early 1960's with the four roll mills. It is showed that the six roll mills offer better feedibility than four roller mills, offer better drainage, reduce the reabsorption giving as results higher milling capacity and higher extraction. The conversion of the four roll mill to six roll mill is relatively simple from mechanical point of view and the existing four roll mills will not require any changes in the existing drive.
