Digitization and Personnel File Management System at Rourkela Steel Plant

We all know that every piece of information is vital and mostly is maintained in the form of documents. Normally these documents are maintained in the respective departments for future reference in the form of book or in the computers. If these documents are not maintained in centralized place, it becomes difficult for employees to refer to it. The survey results show that 80-90% of organizational information resides on paper while the rest is stored in electronic format. Without a computerized system, today it is hard to search, hard to share and data gets lost. Some lost documents are impossible to reproduce. They will cost a lot more in money, time and man-power than we think.
