Topsoe signs refining contract with PetroPeru

Haldor Tops0e has been engaged by Peruvian state oil and refining company PetroPeru to provide technology licenses and basic engineering for three new plants that will be built at the Talara refinery in northern Peru. The plants are part of a modernisation project at the refinery, allowing it to be upgraded to produce more environmentally-friendly products with lower sulphur content. The modernisation is planned to be completed by 2015.
