The inaugural Middle East Sulphur Plant Operations Network (MESPON) Forum was conducted in Abu Dhabi on the 19th and 20th of October, 2014, the purpose of which is to establish a tight-knit network amongst sulphur plant users in the region and with the global sulphur community. Intended benefits of establishing and sustaining a sulphur plant users network include: on-going sharing of technical knowledge and lessons learned, establishment and maintenance of operations best practices, world-class plant performance benchmarking and development of sustainable and enduring local sour gas and sulphur capabilities.
