In United States v.W.R.Grace,Nos.06-30472 & 30524 (9th Cir.September 20,2007),Judge Fletcher,writing for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals,reversed aspects of a district court ruling on government claims that the operation of a mine knowingly endangered nearby residents due to asbestos exposure.
