Paraffin waxes are recovered from the residues of lubricating oil production. Sulzer Chemtech has developed a new process, which is characterized by its low consumption of energy, high yield and complete freedom from solvents and thus contributesto the protection of the environment The process is employed in the world's largest static crystallization plant belonging to Schumann Sasol in Hamburg.
