Up to now, there has been no other methoc comparable with axillary lymph node dissection, th< gold standard of breast cancer staging, than sentine lymph node biopsy (SNB).1 Sentinel nodes can be map ped by means of both blue dye, radioisotope labelec colloid (RI), and lymphoscintigraphy.
