摘要

Direct and mediated electrooxidation of phenol with Co~(3+)/Co~(2+) on a platinum anode in H_2SO_4 solution was carried out. The products and the extent of phenol conversion were monitored by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The degree of phenol conversion as well as the nature and the concentration of oxidation products formed in the absence and in the presence of the redox system mediator, (Co~(3+)/Co~(2+)) have been mnitored.
