From extraction experiments and spectrophotometric measurements, the extraction constant corresponding to the equilibrium K~+(aq) + MnO_4~(aq)+L (nb)<=>KL~+(nb)+MnO_4~- (nb) taking place in two-phase water-nitrobenzene system (L=valinomycin; aq = aqueous phase, nb = nitrobenzene phase) was evaluated as logK_(cx) (KL~+, MnO_4~-) = 6.1 ± 0.1. The stability constant calculated for volinomycin-potassium complex in nitrobenzene saturated with water at temperature of 25℃ was log β_(nb)(KL~+) = 10.5±0.1.
