As such, the company has placed a great deal of significance on the promotion of sustainable products and production processes, as well as the utilisation of alternative raw materials for wood material products. Egger's Eurolight boards have been developed as a solution to such issues as rising costs, reduced budgets, health and safety in the workplace and the sourcing of sustainable materials. As a composite board made from strong 8mm chipboard top and bottom layers, and a light yet robust recycled honeycomb cardboard core, Eurolight is well-suited to the creation of high value chunky furniture.
