US event reflects market recovery

Over 51,000 builders, remodellers and other members of the home building industry attended the recent National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders' Show, in America - signalling the beginning of the industry's recovery.According to NAHB, which organises the annual event, signs of optimism for the industry's recovery could be felt throughout the show, as exhibitors noted increased booth traffic and solid sales leads. This further reflects the US housing market's gradual progress in recent months, which, according to the Wall Street Journal, hit a 17-month high in September 2011.
