摘要

Catalytic properties of palladium and bimetallic palladium-bismuth catalysts supported on SiO_2 in the reaction of glucose oxidation to gluconic acid were studied. Catalysts modified with Bi show much better selectivity and activity than palladium catalysts. The obtained results of research on Pd-Bi/SiO_2 catalytic systems were compared with the results for commercial catalyst of Degussa containing 1%Pt4%Pd5%Bi supported on active carbon. For catalysts 5%Pd5%Bi/SiO_2 and 1%Pt4%Pd5%Bi/C similar selectivity in the reaction of glucose oxidation was observed. XRD studies proved the presence of intermetallic compounds BiPd and Bi_2Pd, which probably in increase activity and selectivity of PdBi/SiO_2 catalysts.
